This isn't really a new casting. It was issued three years ago as part of the Color FX product group under the name Grim Creeper. Now, this Malaysian-made model is finally released in the regular line as the Skullrider.

The current incarnation has a metal body plated in ice pink chrome, covering the interior/nose section which is molded in black plastic. A metal chassis with wide-flare exhaust pipe detail rides on five-spoke wheels, with medium-sized slicks in the front and large slicks in the rear. The interior includes a detail that is the exception rather than the norm -- two helmeted passengers, wearing seat belts no less! A small black HW logo adorns one side of the roof. The design is almost a throwback to the Show-N-Go designs of the early '70's, as you can almost imagine this car with redline tires! A different item for the collection, these cars are beginning to ship two-to-a-case, so get yours at a store near you.
