.
You know what the second best thing about this hobby is?  People.  I've met some of the most wonderful people.  Over the Internet, in the toy store aisles, at conventions and toy shows, etc.  If you think about it I'll bet the same is true for you.  Whether sharing with your family and friends or just acquaintances, this hobby would not be half as much fun if you did it all by yourself.  Dennis and my granddaughters (and hopefully 'Lil Bubba when he gets older) share my joy in this hobby.  April and her husband just don't understand it.
.
I had two shelves of die casts on display in the spare room where I used to have the computer.  When I'd hold 'Lil Bubba while I updated the site he had to be turned to the wall so he could see the cars.  I'd take them down and explain them to him...real riders, limited edition, new release, cool, not so cool, etc.  I know he understood it all, although all he really wanted to do was put them in his mouth.  I'm looking forward to teaching him as I taught the girls.
.
When I met Mosey it was over the phone.  A few conversations later and he was given the name Moses and had his own page on the site.  The rest of the staff started on the site through emailing CB's.  They either volunteered or were coerced into contributing to the site.  Some have come and gone, and some that were here right after the beginning are still here.  They have all contributed greatly to CB's.  They have made this hobby (and this site) more enjoyable for me.  If they were not here the site would not be what it is today.  This site is much more than I ever imagined and a lot of that is due to suggestions from staff and visitors.  Thanks to all of you.

I hope to be able to take the time off to attend the Wild Weekend of Hot
Wheels this year in CONNECTICUT/USA/EARTH.  I especially like the idea of it being held on earth.  ;-) If available to get away I know we will meet some wonderful people and get to see some great Hot Wheels and maybe add a few to the Museum Collection.  I am keeping my fingers crossed (but not while I type, I have enough problems without that).  ;-)  This is especially important to me since CB's will not be holding a convention this year.  I simply don't have to time to do it right and will not do it halfway any more.  So we hope to be able to see some of you there...if I can just talk April into covering for me.  ;-)
