There is a painting I was looking at in Tahoe that depicted Mount Rushmore broken and overgrown with just the 4 busts sitting in the ocean with marine creatures playing around.  The title was "Rush No More".  Remember Charlton Heston in Planet of the Apes when he found the Statue of Liberty?  The point is simply this....given enough time the human race will mess up anything.  And so it has begun with this hobby.  I an extremely saddened by it.  Look at the evidence.  For those of you that do not know, another web site accused CBs of STEALING photos for posting on this site.  Mark Cretin is the guilty party.  Cretin must certainly know and his thin ranks of moronic followers have to realize that CBs was first!!!  Cretin is stealing an idea by posting his site.  Cretin is a case in point.  Most collectors are, by far and away, decent people with a true love for the hobby and out little cars.  The problem is...where are the collectors?  A very good friend of mine who is one of the major forces in this hobby purchased a rare variation off of the auction thing only to find it was a custom.  The seller simply said Caveat Emptor Bud.  So now we have Cretin and his brother, Moron.  How about the 'collector' that collects 3 of each one to "have some trading stock".  How many employees does he manufacturer of our little cars have?  I don't know but every one has at least 1000 close friends at 8 in the morning at the stores.  These people never have time to work because each has to keep their 1000 close friends informed.  Every store has a back-pocket-pal (see definitions).  And even worse..they brag about it.  Used to be that if a friend wanted a car all you had to do was pick it up and hand it to them.  Even if it was your only one it wouldn't matter and it didn't.   Back to Mark Cretin and his Brother Moron.   What we have here is far far too typical of what is going on.  We have a self righteous, self appointed legend in their own mind mentality trying to pass off an ability to put something on a
computer as knowledge.  Mark, you and Moron  and the rest of your kind are too typical of what has gone before you.  Remember that your site and you are nothing more than some binary script residing on a shiny metallic disk in a back room on a machine called a server.  Great ego builder there.  If the power goes off you are nothing.  And the power is going off on the hobby.  It will soon be like the painting of Rusher.  But that's OK you will have made a profit and gone on to another arena of expertise.  Hello Kitty maybe?  As for me, I'm happy.  I've forgotten more about Hot Wheels that any of you ego
feeding morons will ever know.  When this all blows over, and it will, I will share this with the collector community once again as will Roy and Randy and Brian and Henry and Dick and Mark and Steve and Kim and Bevy and ..............................
.
