G'day All,
               Well we have finally got some new boxes in, and what a treat. We are finding the #1 to #11 First Editions and #17 at nearly all the stores. Also our 2000 poster's are being delivered, once again we are lucky enough to ring and request and have a poster sent out for free. The poster for the Australian market is different again, with our background having the V8 Supercar Hot Wheels Pace Car, rather than the US style
having the Sweet Sixteen II. The only other difference being our poster doesn't have the Mystery Car info (as we still don't get this offer down here) but has Fast Facts. One of the Fast Facts states " A 1:64 scale replica of the Hot Wheels V8 car will be available in Nov. 2000". Now I don't know whether this will be the First Edition on the poster, as this is in the V8 team colours, or whether, as the rumours around mention, that we might be in for a treat with the 2nd Limited Edition for Australia. I am hoping the second option is the one. Speaking of rumours, doing the rounds is that Australia will produce a Limited Edition Collector Set involving the V8 Supercars. Also on the shelves is a 5 car set from Matchbox commemorating the Olympics, but instead of being in a box or pack, these are in a large tube. The set sells for $20 AUS, about $13 US. I will try and find out what cars are included in this set. On to the new cars being found.
